  • PSHE

PSHE is the basis for personal and social development across the school and includes the discrete PSHE curriculum, life-skills and careers.  All curriculum subjects link and deliver aspects of Personal and Social Development across the key stages in line with our vision of all students becoming independent young people living and working in the community.

All students develop an awareness and build an understanding of relationships, living in the wider world, health and well-being.  They learn life skills such as planning and taking journeys, shopping, being safe in the home and community, relevant letters, forms and emails.

As skills are consolidated from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 4, students work towards ASDAN employability and Entry Level Life Skills accreditation to further support them to be independent young people living and working in the community.
