Our young people develop and build their scientific knowledge over time in the following areas – plants, animals including humans, everyday materials, seasonal changes, living things and their habitats, forces & magnets, light and electricity. They learn to work scientifically through identifying, observing and reporting findings.
The curriculum is broken down and taught in small steps in line with individual student pathways working towards Entry Level Science qualifications at the end of Key Stage 4.
Students are supported through a well planned and resourced science room, trips and visits.
