This is an important part of the support that we are able to offer to pupils. We have a dedicated team of professional who work with the students to hep improve their communication skills.
All students throughout the school are encouraged to use the Zones of Regulation. This is a colour coded scheme to help express emotions. You can learn more about this over here.
Lego Club is an evidence-based approach designed to support and develop students’ social communication skills. These skills include turn-taking, listening and following directions, giving instructions, problem solving and joint attention.

Blank’s levels of questioning is a questioning framework which aims to develop student’s verbal reasoning, comprehension, inferencing, predicting and problem-solving skills.
